Clare and Tim are celebrating their five year anniversary this summer, and while I wasn’t the one who photographed their wedding, I am the person they asked to come into their home to document an afternoon of them doing the things they like to do: making cocktails, dancing in the kitchen, and chilling with their two cats.
When Clare showed me her inspo pics for this session, most of them were in black and white, and if you know me, you know that’s my love language haha. Leaned right into her vision and embraced all the blur, grain, and mood.
I love shooting at home sessions because they are super laid back, and from a client perspective, you are in an environment you’re already comfortable being in, so it helps keep the vibes chill and the anxiety of having photos taken at ease.
