Looking for a unique Chicago wedding venue that isn’t an industrial loft? Look no further than Cabra Chicago (well, you can, but this is an excellent option.) Cabra is in the heart of Chicago’s West Loop, and offers a full restaurant buyout for your wedding ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. When I say this is the best wedding food I’ve ever had in Chicago I MEAN IT. Love good food? A restaurant buyout is for you.
Unique Chicago Wedding Venue
Unique Chicago wedding venues are often hard to come by. You have the classic ballrooms like the Langham and Intercontinental, historic clubs like Chicago Athletic Association, University Club, and Union League Club, and then you have an insane number of industrial loft spaces (Morgan MFG, Morgans on Fulton, Loft Lucia, Ravenswood Event Center, Fairlie, etc, etc.) Let me preface. These venues are all beautiful and incredible places to get married. BUT, if you want something a little more unique and/or food is important to you, Cabra is the move.
Cabra Chicago
Cabra is located on the rooftop of the Hoxton Hotel, and can accommodate 175 guests for a cocktail style reception, or 100 for a seated dinner. It boasts an incredible bar, floor to ceiling windows, and if you’re getting married in the summer months, the pool deck. Hoping my next wedding there has a pool party tbh.
Wedding Day
Teresa and Bill were married at Cabra in August of 2024. Bill is the co-owner of Piece Pizza in Chicago, so I was not surprised the couple chose the restaurant route. They also had Piece delivered for their late night snack. Scroll to see this fun, cocktail style wedding reception.
