This season has been INSANE and I have been behind on sharing it! Starting off with an early May wedding in my favorite place on earth, Italy! In the heart of Sicily, where the Mediterranean Sea kisses the sky and history whispers through ancient streets, lies the enchanting town of Taormina. Known for its breathtaking vistas, timeless architecture, and romantic ambiance, Taormina serves as an exquisite backdrop for a summer wedding. As a photographer, stepping into this picturesque realm is akin to entering a fairytale, and it was an absolute dream come true to photograph a Villa Mon Repos wedding.

This trip was my first to Sicily, and it was an absolute dream. I was able to bring my fiancé with, and we spent the week eating arancini and gelato (my two favorite food groups.) Taormina is a symphony of beauty, where cobblestone alleyways wind through medieval buildings adorned with cascading bougainvillea and panoramic views of the azure sea. Each corner unveils a new chapter of history, from the ancient Greek amphitheater overlooking Mount Etna to the quaint piazzas bustling with life. In the realm of wedding photography, Taormina offers a canvas where romance intertwines with the timeless allure of its surroundings.

Arissa and Dan’s wedding at Villa Mon Repos was an intimate ceremony with their closest family and friends followed by an insane cocktail hour spread, a delicious dinner with perfect wine pairings, and dancing the night away.
