If you have been following me on socials lately, you know the last few weeks (months) have been pretty somber for my family. We suffered two unexpected losses of two people who were very important in my family, and one of them was far too soon. It has been difficult and life has been heavy with grief, but I managed to slip in a little bright spot a few weeks ago in Milwaukee with Bridget and Brent at Villa Terrace Milwaukee.
Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum has been on my Midwest bucket list for wedding photos for quite awhile. After ruling out an Italy wedding for Connor and I, we looked at having a local wedding at this gorgeous Italian Arts Museum. Unfortunately our guest list was too large for the venue to accommodate; however, if you’re having a wedding with less than 125 guests this spot should be high up on your list. The venue is stunning with absolutely gorgeous grounds, and beautiful indoor photo locations as well. Our session was a tad too early in the season to enjoy the grounds, so we stuck to shooting inside the terrace. It did not disappoint!
Bridget and Brent are getting married in Chicago later this year, and they will be one of the last few weddings I shoot before I get married! This year feels just a little bit sweeter knowing that I am in the same season of life as all of my clients. It has been wonderful getting to know every single one of my couples, and I look forward to talking to all of the 2025 couples hitting my inbox. If you want to be one of those couples, click here. 🙂
