Summertime engagement sessions are still in full swing, and we’re loving every last one of them. If you’re like me and the thought of having to look good in humidity and heat stresses you out, I definitely recommend either an at-home or studio session, but if you’re like Maria and John, you embrace it and knock your engagement photos out of the park despite sweating through a dress shirt.
We had originally planned to go from the Lincoln Park Zoo to the pier at North Avenue Beach, but due to the heat and humidity, decided to venture around the Zoo instead. A lot of people only think of the Honeycombs when they think of photos at the Zoo, but there are SO many beautiful vignettes around the park and we took full advantage of them, especially the gorgeous wildflowers.
